Well I'm back from my family holiday to Wales. I must admit that before I got there I thought the whole 'lots of sheep' thing was another one of those silly overdone steriotypes, but seriously it's no lie. If there is a field without sheep it'll usually be a bog, sometimes the sheep will be in the bog anyway. Mum also became obsessed with seeing a herd (that is the right word isn't it) of ponies that lived in a large open area near where we were staying.
We had some pretty eventful days, and some um... not so eventful ones. My favourates were mainly the ones in which we travelled on some railway or other.
There are some awful drivers in Wales, though. Not just the impatient ones who drive right up your backside and overtake on bends (whom my family now call 'sunroofers'

either. The worst offenders were the slow drivers, the people who insist on driving at 40 in 60 zones, and the situation wasn't helped by the windy roads which had few safe places to overtake. One day we missed a boat trip because of the vast numbers of slow drivers who held us up.
That aside, Wales is a beautiful country, with it's dramatic valleys and rocky mountains. Plus it all looks so brilliant from the top of Mt. Snowdon (which we climbed DOWN, we took the train up).
Anyways, I'm gonna post a couple of pictures from the holiday sometime soon. Untill then, see ya'll.

As for my methods, I usualy like to keep the initial build simple and bulk it out afterwards. Most of my creations use the standard arm and leg build seen in sets nowadays, this is mainly because lack the parts to make any decent alternatives. To make up for this I like to invent different ways of creating and attaching armour onto existing pieces. Just try sticking two, seemingly random, parts together and see what you get.
You can also try integrating standard lego into a MoC. If done right the results can be pretty amazing and it also means you have a wider range of parts that can be added to bulk up a model or help make intricate areas. I've never been able to pull this off too well, though.
I hope this helps you, at least in a small way. You definitely have great talent when it comes to large scale models and I think you could pull of some great small ones too.

It's like being served iced dog turd. Sure it's unusual and interesting to look at, but at heart it's just a pile of shit.
Go go Autism Rangers! Hiding from monsters, getting stressed out over nothing.
I really like your style. I like that you find unusual ways to make these pieces fit together. I try to do that and I can to some degree, but you are really good at it. I think if I could use your technique on my MOCs that would be incredible!
The bigest drawback to having the big guys, is no one looks past them to see the smaller stuff. I have more smaller guys than big ones, and no one ever comments on my character design for the smaller stuff, not like they do the bigger ones. I know the big stuff is great I don't need reassurance on them, its the smaller guys I really want the feedback on and to get all the detailed opinions and compliments.

Also...
Check it out dude! I now have an avatar! (albeit a poor one) but i think it's recognisable as a wolf skull in front of a blood red moon? I hope?
And there is no way that avatar is poor, it's by far better than mine. It is, in fact, awesome.
